Lesson Objectives:

1. For pupils to learn and comment on different types and design of a free moving car.
2. For pupils to be able to analyse different parts that makes a free moving car.

Activities:

1. Teacher prepares different types of design of a free moving car for the pupils to choose and comment.
2. Pupils choose and compare different types of free moving cars.
3. Pupils dissembles different parts that they can think of and jot it down on a word processing software.
4. Pupils research on how to make a free moving cars on the internet.
   
5. Teacher then comments on what the pupils had think of during their discussion and points on what are the important parts that makes a free moving move.
6. Try to draw how their expected free moving car would look like.

Questions:

1. Do you know how car moves?
2. Why are there different kinds of cars? why big? Why small?
3. Is design of a car important?
4. does a free moving only rely on wheels to move?
5. what are other things that can affect the movement of a free moving car?
   

*Notice: if there is no internet connection teacher will prepare a passage or manuals on how to make a free moving car.

During the fasting month school ends early.. its at 1140hrs
so this is what we do in the afternoon.. just to kill time..

Teaching practice 4 - 1st September 2008

0800-0900am primary 5B Mathematics.. 1Hour
revising rules of parallelogram.
-opposite sides are equal
-opposite angles are equal
-total of adjacent angle is 180 degrees

0930-1000am primary 5C English.. 1/2Hour
no class. class teacher took the class for revision

1100-1130am primary 5A Science.. 1/2 Hour
giving revision on the topic of Life cycle of animals.

Teaching practice 3 - 25th August 2008

today i was assigned to observe three classes that will be my class for the coming weeks..
i was given 4 periods every Monday and will be teaching maths, english and science..
1 period of maths as a subject.. and the rest across curriculum.

0800-0900am primary 5B Mathematics.. 1Hour
currently they are working on Geometrical properties square, rectangle and parallelogram. knowing the basic rules of opposite angles and opposite sides. and some exercises for the pupils.

0930-1000am primary 5C English.. 1/2Hour
the pupils started of by reading a short text by the teacher.. and at the same time the teacher asked if they understand some particular words that they were reading. After that they were asked to translate the text into malay. And giving extra exercises changing some words into past tense.

1100-1130am primary 5A Science.. 1/2 Hour
i was suppose to observe this class but at around 10.30 me and some colleagues were asked to bring some pupils out to buy clothes. its a long story.. emergency.. so i wasn't able to attend the class to observe the teacher because we were back at around 12.
Anyways i met the teacher and and she told me that the pupils have finished and covered all the topics.. and what they are going to do in these coming weeks is just revise.

Teaching Practice 2 - 18th August 2008

18th of August was the opening ceremony of "Pesta Sukan Sekolah Rendah", and i was one of the teacher in charge of 150 pupils that was attending the ceremony.










Traffic officer was busy controlling the traffic so there was no congestion













Upon the arrival of the guest of honor
the ceremony starts with a speach.
Then march pass by all the participants
from all Primary school zone.

special performance by Shotokan Karate from various Primary and Secondary Students.
